Warth-Schröcken is a freeride mekka with tradition. Pastor and ski pioneer Johann Müller already skied down the slopes of the Tannberg region at the end of the 19th century. Today, however, local professionals, such as Alois Bickel and Martin “McFly” Winkler, leave their tracks on the beautiful white slopes. Warth-Schröcken is the most snow-sure part of the Arlberg and its altitude as well as its many north-facing slopes with a unique quality of snow allows visitors to ski down even in late spring. With thoroughly developed programs as well as safety and practice lessons, local guides and ski instructors have adapted freeriding and help freeriders of all levels develop secure off-piste skills and experience unforgettable powder moments in the legendary backcountry.
